Alternate Street Parking in the City of New Lisbon; Notice of Snow Emergency Ordinance - Alternate street parking went into effect November 15th in the City of New Lisbon, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. All vehicles shall be parked only on even numbered sides of the street on those days bearing an even calendar date and on the odd numbered sides of the street on those days bearing an odd calendar date. Violators of this ordinance are subject to fines. Alternate Street Parking runs now until April 1st.
The City of New Lisbon also created and passed and passed an ordinance for snow emergencies. The ordinance gives the City the authority to declare a snow emergency when it has determined the snow and/or ice accumulation on the city streets is an amount sufficient to hinder the sage movement of traffic or to impede the ability of emergency vehicles and public transportation vehicles to travel safely and expeditiously over such city streets or alleys.
When a snow emergency is declared, no one shall park a motor vehicle or leave a vehicle parked on any street within the city during the period of time the snow emergency is declared. Any vehicles found on the streets during the snow emergency can be towed at the owner’s expense.
City Hall & Utilities can now take debit and/or credit cards in the office for property tax or utility payments. Convenience Fees apply. For more information, see flyers in the lobby.

The New Lisbon Methodist Church will be hosting a Monthly Community Supper at the New Lisbon American Legion Hall. This will be held the last Tuesday of each month from 4:30 p.m.. to 6:00 p.m.. There is no charge for the meal and everyone is encourage to attend - regardless of age, address or handicap.
